On my third day of eating Paleo and feeling fantastic!!! Stepped on the scales this morning and had to weigh myself twice just to make sure it was right - I've reached 58.3kg, when my goal was to reach 58.5kg by 25/12/12! So happy that I've beaten my goal weight 5 days early, and to be honest I have been a bit slack on the exercise this week so I am sure it has dropped off as a result of the Paleo diet. But it was the motivation I needed to get me back to the gym this morning and now I am feeling on top of the world. I have a few red flag days coming up that I know I will struggle with... I have this terrible habit of eating really well for a while, then I have a slip up and totally binge on delicious food! This is a habit I am determined to break, but I know it will be a challenge with Christmas coming up and all the other social events at this time of year. My friend's Mexican housewarming party is tomorrow night, and she has hired a twin barrel slushy machine for margaritas and mojitos (yum!) Along with all the yummy Mexican food she has prepared... It will take all my willpower not to go overboard. But I am seeing results and I don't want to undo my hard work, so I will let myself have a little bit but I won't go crazy. I will eat a Paleo dinner before I go so that I don't fill up on Mexican snacks, and I will be drinking vodka lime and soda for the majority of the night with only a few margaritas. Then back on the Paleo train the next day, no excuses!!!
