Day 10: Mutant Frog

Messy story board beats I made for the first semesters final! I made it awhile ago, but still really like something about it.

And who can resist a mutant frog lady?

Did I mention I saw a six-legged leopard frog earlier today?

I would have caught it But I didn't think to bring my net because today is the first time things have actually been moving about after the winter.

I'm realizing just now that the water was literally three inches deep and I probably could have just reached in for it but then again we did see a huge snapping turtle with a red shell so I was right to be paranoid.

But dang it that frog was cool.

I'm calling it Baritan. (after my one OC's daemon because he is also a leopard frog...Minus the extra legs.)

From now on I'm just bringing the net with me. And a bucket. And boots instead of flip-flops because holy frak mud.

Also I am officially Research Girl because I figured out that the cute little bird we were following around was a black-capped chickadee. We thought for sure it was a woodpecker. But nope.
