Wanda had been searching for him for so long, ever since the day she’d seen his speech on television. She had been around her friend’s house, a normal girl in college other than the obvious addition of her mutant powers. Her friend had found the whole thing just an interesting news tidbit, it had turned Wanda’s world upside down. Especially when her mother called her twins to the kitchen table later that night and told them the truth, the real truth about their father, the man who had passed on the mutant gene to them.
Despite his involvement in breaking Erik out the Pentagon, her brother seemed content to sit and watch as anti mutant tensions continued to grow, uninterested in what it meant for them. They were lucky to have invisible powers that they could hide if they needed to. Others were not so lucky. Wanda knew she needed to find her father, do something rather than sit and watch. And so she searched, and searched. Hardly any rumour of Magneto’s whereabouts passed through the community of mutants but she only needed one to be true. She looked around the building she’d found herself searching. “Hello?” She called out.
