God tumblr mute systems for words on the actual text post fucking sucks. I can't avoid certain topics AT ALL unless someone tags them and most ppl don't so i'm forced to see those posts?? I can't mute a shortened word (which is way more used than the longer term) because then it will also filters out longer words that have the shortened term in them but have nothing to do with the topic

how many hashtags/words do you have muted/filtered here on tumblr?

i’m curious because i myself tend to “over” mute/filter things to curate my dashboard to the extreme. i mean like triggers, squicks, slight annoyances, and even things that i just don’t care about. feel free to explain your preference when it comes to muting/filtering!

Tumblr's mute function was working so well until today. Now if I decide to click "view post" it sends me away from the app and into a browser that messes up the formatting.

I want Tumblr to be like... if i mute a tag, or a keyword.... PLEASE DONT EVER SHOW THE POST TO ME. I dont want to see it eventhough the picture/content is censored.
