Equipment ready to go, she had taken a moment to prepare herself for the dive. Though it were a simple hunt, the idea of spending a full half an hour submerged hadn’t quite formulated itself until the moment beside the water’s edge. She wasn’t sure what exactly to expect, as a novice. Before she might have the opportunity to consider too deeply, her head shook and braced herself to swim out to the point directed as ideal to plunge beneath.
Though not alone was she, and catching sight of another who may have been witness to the ritual to keep herself calm, her body went stiff. Due to that concern, she avoided his eye immediately, using the water’s surface more as distraction than hurdle to climb over.
`"I didn’t see you there-- You’re... heading out for the hunt as well?” A smile formed, shaky and forced in the name of being amicable and appearing less awkward than she easily felt. “Best of luck to you”.
