He looked to his mother when she went to check his forehead and the moment she felt his temperature, he knew it was over. He knew he was sick and what he was doing but, he wasn’t willing to skip school because he had a little cold, even if he felt a bit more pain in his body than when he normally got a cold but, he blew it off as if he must’ve stressed a muscle out in gym or something. 

“But mama I have to go to school. I’m okay, it’s just a cold. Everyone has it at school just about.” He told her as he sniffled softly as his nose was draining a bit.
