“ Rex?”
The little pig looked almost shy as he approached the sheepdog. True, Rex had found him when he ran away, and he hadn’t tried to bite him in some time, but Babe still thought it best to give Rex a bit of space.
He stopped a few feet away from the dog, and her pawed his foot through the ground a few times out of nervousness.
“ I - I, well I...I just wanted to thank you for helpin’ me and gettin’ the password. It’s an awfully long run back to the farm and, well...”
The pig hesitated a moment longer as he glanced at the old dog.
“..thank you.”
