Quilted double bass quiver I made in 2024

This was my first time trying paper piecing. The whole thing is entirely hand sewn because no way was my sewing machine going to handle all the layers of recycled canvas I dug out of a bin for this hah. My fingers relied extensively on a thimble. There is a little bit of wire sewn in to hold the mouth open. For some reason I didn't originally think to line it, and had to retrofit a lining, which is all fine now, but including it from the beginning would have been much simpler and more elegant.
