Just a random story I had in my head

Magi:the labyrinth of magic: modern au!

Pairings: Hakuyuu x oc, Kouen x Muu, Hakuryuu x oc.

As Muu entered the Ren family's living room, he was greeted by the sight of his lover comfortably siting on the large couch that faced the television. The members of this large family were all gathered together, crammed as half of the room was set up as a photo stand. Mu smiled and went to greet Kouen with a kiss when Kouha jumped from where he was doing Hakuren's make up.

"No! Nope! No kissing brother En! I just did his make up. I don't want to do it again because of you!" He said while waving his hands around. "So back off, hold your kissing til after the show and go stand over there with Eliana and Mizuki." He pointed to the far left corner of the room where the two women sat and were calmly speaking.

They both smiled and greeted Muu as he came to sit with them.

"Welcome to the corner of the rejected lover/girlfriend/fiancée." Eliana said jokingly. She grinned at him and asked " so who sent you here? Mizu got send here by En for messing with Ryuu's hair and I was betrayed by my future husband." The last part was completed with a little dramatic pose for better effect.

"Kouha had the honor of telling me to come and enjoy your company." Eliana laughed.

"Ah, did you try to mess with someone's make up? He is quite protective of his art." Muu chuckled.

Suddenly an exclamation was heard from near the set up. It seemed as though the technical problems from earlier were solved.

The fashion show could begin!

Perhaps a little explanation is required?

Kougyoku had recently decided to enter a fashion contest in which the competitors had to create their own designs and had to have their family model for them. Said family could include any person with a blood relation to the competitor or any person linked by law ( such as in-laws or step-siblings). Neither Mizuki nor Muu qualified for those conditions while Eliana would officially be family in a few months time.

During the next hours, the whole gang passed in front of the camera. At the end of the shooting, when all the necessary pictures were taken, the large family had decided to just have fun and take some private pictures just for themselves.

The photos that Kougyoku found the best were send to the contest.

And now all there was to do was to wait for the results that would be announced in three weeks.

The wait for the results was unbearable for Kougyoku. All she wanted to know was if she won. The winner would have the honor of working with the renowned designer, Myers on her next collection.

When the letter finally arrived, the contestant was suddenly really nervous.

"Well? What are you waiting for? Open it." She looked up from the letter in her hands and smiled when she saw her whole family be in supportive. She took a deep breath before opening the envelope.

"Dear Miss Ren Kougyoku,

We, members of the jury, would first like to thank you for your participation and all the efforts you put into our contest.

As it has been announced, the participants who have landed in the top 10 will be offered an internship at the Magnoshtatt designing school, additionally the winner will also have the opportunity to work with fashion designer, Myers on her autumn - winter collection.

Only the top 10 will be publicly revealed. If you are not part of it, you may find your ranking on our website.

"OMG!! I'm so happy for you, Gyoku!" Kouha jumped on her and hugged really tight. She couldn't believe it: she won and Miss Myers loved her outfits.

After recovering from the news, she squealed and hugged her youngest brother back jumping around the living room. Her family congratulated her. They were all happy for her, she had definitely earned it after all the work she put into the contest.

"It looks like your hair skills aren't going to be a secret anymore, En." Hakuren said.

"True. Myers will probably want to know who did the hair styles. You should be proud of yourself too, Kouha. Your make up was also complimented." Hakuyuu added as he watched the scene with a gentle smile, holding Eliana around her waist.

"It was never a secret to begin with." Kouen replied "it's not my fault if people assume that just because I am a businessman, I can't do braids or other hairstyles."

Way of the Magihusband

So a bit ago I watched "Way of the Househusband" and just thought how great to do a Magi fic as a Househusband AU. (Read a year ago, but @muus-brat and I have been discussing ganster aus and got me all fired up on this again!)

The legendary Flame Emperor suddenly disappeared after a big Kou turf war. One day Ka Kobun is going around town all miserable and spies him! Only to find he now is taking being domestic to the extreme!

Casting Kouen as Tastsu was easy with that intense intimidation he has but just a softie inside. I have been hung up on who to cast as Kouen's spouse though. So anyone have a preference, please help me decide!
