#MusicMonday: Music Video of the Week
I must admit that this “Girl Meet World” star took me by surprise, especially since I have yet to watch the series yet (I know!). I came upon this video randomly on YouTube in the “Recommended” section. At first thought, I wasn’t going to click on it but I’m glad I did! It’s not something I expected but here is Sabrina Carpenter with her newest video “Smoke and Fire”. I’m headed to subscribe to…

Music videos of the week: Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks x Arctic Monkeys - Hold On, We're Going Home
Since it's not Thursday today, let me say Flashback Friday instead!...*kroo* Aaaanyway, Foster The People has been one of my favorite indie pop bands since 2010 and theirs was the first concert I'd ever been to. I flew to Singapore in January 2011 to catch their concert live and it was an amazing experience! It was my first time to travel abroad with a friend and we had so much fun! Mark Foster has such a beautiful voice and I kinda regret not watching their concert again when they came here in the Philippines.
Hadn't listened to this in a while, but I'll always enjoy this song! :) The version they played in their concert was so upbeat and incredible I wish I could go back to that moment one more time.
But I'm not done yet! :) Since I wasn't able to share my music video of the week last week, here it is!
It's Arctic Monkeys' cover of Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home and I assure you, it's so sexy I can't think straight while listening to it... HAHA.
Hope you enjoyed their rendition as much as I did! :) Have a wonderful weekend ahead!
P.S. Finally posting about my tattoos this weekend, so stay tuned! :)

Music video of the week: Alex & Sierra - Say Something x Playlist
I watched The X Factor (U.S.) S03E21 last week and couldn't help but fall in love with Alex & Sierra's rendition of Say Something by A Great Big World. I first heard the song on The Voice and loved that rendition featuring Christina Aguilera, as well. (You may watch it here.)
The X Factor is just one of the many shows I watch and I religiously download the episodes every week. I've been watching it since the first season and I have to say that Alex & Sierra are my absolute favorite, although I also liked a lot of acts from season 1 and Carly Rose Sonenclar and Emblem3 from last season).
Before I even started watching season 3, I had already come across Alex & Sierra on Facebook when a friend of mine shared their audition video where they sang Toxic by Britney Spears. It seemed like an odd song choice for an audition, but once they started singing all doubts were gone. I started following them from then on and even looked for their other covers before their X Factor journey.
I've liked all of their performances so far, but last week's was the most amazing for me. It was the perfect song choice for the Unplugged portion of the night. (Do also watch Restless Road's version of Avicii's Wake Me Up here―sharing this because I actually like Restless Road, a country man band, and I don't even like country at all! So that'something.)
I just love the way they sound and the way they look at one another when they sing. I ship them so much that, even though I find Alex so attractive (so attractive it actually hurts whenever I watch him HAHA), I wouldn't dare wish for them to break up (they've been dating for a couple of years!). I really like how down-to-earth Sierra seems. I just can't find her annoying. They're so cute together and it's amazing that they've found one another 'cause their voices are just perfect together. (Fan girl much, right?! Haha.)
After that performance, I made it my personal mission to make my own playlist with all of their covers I could find. Enjoy!

Music video of the week: Motorama - Eyes
Lately I've been listening to a lot more music—if that is even possible—than usual, so I wanna start sharing one music video/song I like every week.
I do listen to different genres, but I'm mostly into indie and alternative. I also listen to mainstream (especially pop) when I'm in the office because that's what my office mates like and I don't really mind.
My music taste has evolved so much through the years. Would you believe that I had a screamo phase when I was a teenager? I actually still like it, but I don't get to listen to screamo as much as I used to. I also had a phase wherein I just wanted to listen to old mellow songs, another just pop, and several other phases.
Now that I'm older, I've come to realize and truly appreciate where I find most comfort in in terms of my musical preference. Whatever mood I'm in, I'm sure I'll find an indie song I like. It is then not a surprise that my all-time favorite song is by Foals—my favorite indie rock band.
But enough of that! Here below is Eyes by Motorama. I came across this band last year while I was going from one YouTube video to another. I'm really glad I did!
Enjoy!
