Us shidge shippers ain't doing so great
I remember when thousands of people on this hellsite were drooling over Ereri, a relationship between a 15 y/o and a 30+ y/o (and those ages had actually been confirmed from the beginning) and the discourse wasn’t nearly as bad. People aged them up or down as they pleased, had different headcanons etc., and only a few bags of dicks would go around telling shippers they deserved to die.
Don’t let the Vo/tron fandom’s apparent purity crusade intimidate you. It’s less of a shipping issue and more the development of fandom in recent years.
