My life has been about so many acronyms as of late and being born in the 80′s, I can say that I don't know the meaning of all of them. But this weeks acronyms are more than grown up, they are institutions in themselves. First of all, NYC needs no explanation, it is my home for the meantime and there isn't an inch of it I don't love. It is also the home of the Nation Arts Club or NAC in Gramercy. Prestigious as it may be, with origins casting as far back as the 1800′s, it has opened its doors to the Accessible Art Fair (AAF). My partner Jason has had two of his works from his project Totem exhibited in the Trask Gallery located inside the Arts Club. The official opening was last night with a first access event the day before on Monday night and in only 48hours there has been such a tremendous turnout with famous faces such a Alan Cumming gracing the gallery. MVVO, who are partnering with AAF for the month-long event have done such a beautiful job in creating opportunities for artists to speak directly to buyers and interested parties. If you’re in the NYC area, you can go on their website to buy tickets directly.
