Hey I just had a clarification question about the gifsets. You said one gifset, but what does that mean? Like a minimum of one gif in the set or a set of four or...? This looks really interesting! I just want to make sure I understand what's being asked of me before I commit

Yeah I am sorry that is a little vague and part of it is that we aren't gif makers just know that it takes a lot of work.
We talked about it and we are thinking that if someone is doing gifs to go with a prompt then it is a minimum of 4 gifs in a set.
1 gif set = minimum 4 gifs
From claims to posting there is about 9 weeks for people to do the work in.

01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?
It’s the name that jumped out at me first, actually, which is strange. I had the name Jex and then they turned into the fab nb sweetheart that we know and love today.
02. What is one of your character’s biggest insecurities? Are they able to hide it easily or can others easily exploit this weakness?
They’re new here and it kind of shows. They try not to do anything that isn’t normal here but they kinda fail at it sometime. It’s hard to exploit, though, because they can play off the ‘I’m just from another part of the country’ thing.
They’re also not a negotiator so it’s not hard to rile them up into a fight.
03. What would be their favorite physical trait about themselves?
Their hair. They keep it long so they can braid it and put it up or keep it down and it’s so pretty.
04. What are their favorite traits about their lover? (one psychological and one physical)
He’s quiet but he puts up with their craziness and he lets them be who they are instead of forcing them to be something else. They love hair and his smile and his body and even his scars everything about him is beautiful to them.
05. Are they sexually confident or more of the shy type?
They are so sexually confident it’s ridiculous but they’re also such a bottom it hurts which is great
06. Do they have any hobbies that their lover finds unusual, odd, or otherwise annoying?
They bring home any remotely cute thing they find in the woodsuhI’m sure he thought it was a little weird that they’d have entire conversations and get in arguments with themself at first.They’re reckless and don’t take care of themself jfc.Those come to mind
07. Is there a catchphrase or sound that they tend to make a lot (likely without being aware of it)?
Not really, but they do talk to themself a lot of that counts?
08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it?
They do things without thinking and are way too overbearing sometimes. It comes from them being forced into a quiet submissive role by the king for so long. Now that they’re out and can make their own choices, they make some bad ones. They’re aware of this, but normally Adder has to remind them not to be a dumbass.
09. Do they have a favorite season? What about a favorite holiday?
They love winter because of all the snow. They are such a holiday person they love anything that means family and friends getting together even if they don’t have much of that anymore. Does adder’s birthday count?
10. Is your character more feminine or masculine?
They are nonbinary af get your gender roles off my lawn. I mean people have told me they come off as more masculine but also that they look more feminine so
stop having it be gendered
11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage?
Hurting anyone that they love. Bringing up Necro, especially if someone talks bad about them. Calling them a murderer.
12. Is there some particular talent, skill, or attribute that they simply could not give up?
Their combat skills. They need to know how to fight to survive even if they’re safer here.
Also their musical skill because they love playing the guitar.
13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?
They’re a pretty light sleeper as far as listening to their instinct goes but noise-wise they can sleep through people talking and stuff. They can fall asleep anywhere and when they have bad days they sleep in corners or on the porch. They’re a cuddler and usually sleep tangled up with adder but I don’t think he minds cause they’re basically a furnace.
14. Do they live alone or with family? How do they feel about their family/roommates?
They live with The Bae™ and they love him. He lets them have cats and he’s quiet but he doesn’t mind them talking to themself and the cats.
They’re really in love.
15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.
The king. And their father.
16. Is your character the athletic type or more of a couch potato? What are some sports/games that they like?
They’re definitely athletic. They like to relax with the cats once in awhile, but it’s too ingrained in them to be active to just stop. They practice their magic and sword skills a lot to keep sharp. They also like running in the mornings even if Adder doesn’t like them out in the woods.
17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?
Yeah but shhhh don’t tell Adder
They raised three kids practically all on their own, so they’ve done that before, but it’s probably for the better if they just have their cats.18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?
Quiet and small, and probably pretty secretive because them and Adder are sketchy af as cute as they are.
19. Would your character be the kind to get into fights? (physical or verbal) Would they be a good fighter or cave in rather easily?
They’re too hot headed for their own good sometimes. On bad days they’re quick to jump to the things that hurt even though they’ll feel super guilty once they’ve cooled down.
Don’t get into it with them physically. They cheat to win.
20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?
They love animals. They’re why they have so many cats. They’re sympathetic to mythical creatures, especially after their time with the king, but aren’t too fond of dragons for obvious reasons.
21. What is one of your character’s biggest fears? How would they react when dealing with this fear?
They’re afraid of failing to save someone and losing their loved ones.
Um- they don’t deal. It’s not pretty.
They’re also deathly afraid of water but that’s for PTSD reasons so they don’t deal they panic.
22. What kind of tattoos, piercings, birthmarks, freckles, and other such unique physical features do they have?
They have a sun tattoo on their foot, a tattooed row of scales down their spine, and the princess’s insignia on their right shoulder. They have scars all over from punishment/torture/fights.
23. What is your character like when it comes to school? What subjects are they good/bad at? Do they get in trouble a lot or are well behaved?
They didn’t get to go to school, because they had to work instead. But the few years they did go they were pretty well behaved. As a kid they were a lot quieter than they are now. They were the Mom Friend™ to the troublemakers.24. In their own words, how would your character describe what their lover is like?
If you asked them, you’d get a simple he’s great! because they’re that kind of person.
He’s sweet and caring and he lets them be themself and they know that they can be a bit much but he loves them anyway and he’s just honestly one of the best things that’s ever happened to them. He has his bad days, but he helps them through theirs. He sings to them when they have nightmares and makes sure they take care of themself. He’s also great in bed so there’s that too.
25. Is there something traumatic from your character’s past that greatly affects them even to this day?
A lot of it, tbh, but what sticks out most is their mom’s death, their dad leaving, their kills, and the torture.
26. What is their lover like sexually? How do they feel about their lover’s quirks, needs, etc?
for this purpose we’ll leave it at adder’s a really sexual person
Imma guess the second part isn’t about the sex so. They think a lot of his little quirks are really cute, and try to be there for anything he needs.
27. If your character was going to get arrested, what would be the most likely reason for it?
murder or theft
28. If your character became a celebrity, what would they be famous for?
I’d hope it wouldn’t be for the murder, so maybe their music skill?
29. What is one of the most courageous things your character has ever done for a loved one?
They’ve risked their life for their loved ones on multiple occasions. The most courageous is probably what happened with Necro to save the princess and Glimmer.
30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?
They’re a street musician so they kinda have to like the arts. They love listening to all sorts of music and singing for people. They love going to plays and if movies were a thing they would love all the special effects and stuff, I think.
31. Would your character be the kind capable of killing? Would they enjoy killing or only use it when necessary or, perhaps, refuse to kill no matter what?
Ha. Of course they’re capable of killing. They hate it, but it’s what they do.
32. If your character’s lover offered to take them out on a dream date, what would they want to do?
Contrary to popular belief, they love nights in. A quiet dinner and then cuddling on the couch with the cats and talking or playing music together is their favorite thing. And lots of whatnotting afterwards.
33. If your character wanted to be alone, where would they go?
They would find a corner of the house to hide in, probably, or go out on the porch and sit by the door. They wander the woods sometimes, but that’s only if they’re really upset. They forget to tell Adder where they’re going sometimes and that doesn’t end well.
34. Does your character have favorite foods? (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, etc)
They’re a vegetarian and they really like apples and fish. They don’t really snack, but they do try to eat at least twice every day.
35. Is your character afraid of death? If they got to choose how to die, how would they want to go?
They’re not afraid to die. They’d want to either die fighting or alone so they can’t hurt anyone.
36. Does your character have any medical conditions? Are they serious or minor? Do they affect their day to day life?
They have severe PTSD that they try to hide even though it causes panic attacks and nightmares way more often than they let on. They don’t sleep a lot because of it. They’re also most definitely possessed, if that counts.
37. What are some of your character’s pet peeves? What are some things that annoy them or disgust them?
Misgendering them or using their dead name are two things you do not do.
Or on a less ‘they’ll kill you’ note, when people are unsafe with weapons, especially around the kids cats.
38. What kind of weather does your character like? Cloudy skies, rainy days, sunshine, etc?
They like cool, windy days, and when it snows. They like the concept of rain, but thunder makes them a bit jumpy, so they aren’t super fond of actual rainy days.
39. When people look at your character, is there some assumption they might make about them just by appearance? Is that assumption correct?
Either ‘wow they seem nice’ or ‘what gender even are they’ are the two people think most often. And yes, that’s pretty accurate.
40. Does your OC have any guilty pleasures they enjoy? Hobbies, past times, music, etc that they wouldn’t want known by others?
No, they’re a pretty open book.
They scratch things, like a cat, it’s adorable but it wrecks the furniture.
41. Does your character’s family affect your character in any way?
Their mom died and their dad left in one day. Their dad was their first kill. They worked for their sister as a hitman. They also helped the princess, who they basically raised, start a revolution.
So yes, they do.
42. Is there anything in your character’s past that they regret, haunts them, or they wish they could change?
Most of it tbh
43. Does your character have a switch that changes aspects of their personality whether they are around friends, family, etc. Is there someone who gets to see their true self?
They seem like they wear their heart on their sleeve but only Adder’s ever really seen their true self.
Plot twist their chill is very fake.
44. Is there a particular event that would emotionally devastate your character?
Lets just say it involves Adder.
45. Is your character the kind to hide their true emotions or do they wear their heart on their sleeve?
Both. They overly make it seem like they feel one way but you never know if they actually do or not.
46. What is some random affectionate thing that your character always does to their lover?
They sit by him and lay against him or with their head in his lap when he’s doing stuff. They write songs for him when he’s gone. They hold his hand out of the blue sometimes and give him kisses if they’re sitting together. They jump him for whatnot.
47. Is your character outgoing? Would they be the leader of the friend group, or the quiet one that gets dragged along?
They’re so outgoing it’s ridiculous. They’re the one that gets Adder out of the house.
48. Is there anything in particular that would ignite your character’s jealousy? Or does your character not get envious?

49. What is something that your character has nightmares about? Are these frequent? Do they heavily affect your character’s mood?
They have nightmares about their past, specifically the torture they were put through and what Necro did. They happen a lot, and the next day they either try to hide the fact that they woke up screaming by being overly energetic or get really quiet and withdrawn for a while.
50. If your character confessed love to their crush, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc, what would they say?
They’d probably just come out and tell him, tbh. They wouldn’t want to do anything too over the top incase it wasn’t reciprocated, but they’d probably have to convince themself that they can actually do it first.
