    Being a spirit had it’s perks, especially when you got to mess with others,     like RIGHT now. Someone was in the forest who was clearly alone, she     couldn’t be more RELIEVED to see another person, but she couldn’t be     more M I S C H I E V O U S to play around with him.

     Tonight’s win has left Eska in a favorable mood. Though her arms and legs still ache from the strain of battle, the burn they carry reminds her still of yet another hard-earned victory. Eska walks into the halls of the stadium freshly changed from her probending uniform with a sense of purpose, of accomplishment –– and then light blue eyes settle upon the boy in the hall.

  “You gotta catch up, Kai!”  

An easy laugh escaped her lips as she zipped through the air on her glider.  Usually she flew while the sun was up, so the experience was new --- and exhilarating.  The cool evening breeze ruffled her brown hair, letting it tickle her face.  Beneath her, the streets of Republic City sparkled and twinkled as  Sato-mobiles hurried to their destinations.  It was truly a city that never slept.

Her footing was careful as she landed atop the head of her grandfather’s statue.  It was one of her favorite places to go and escape, and now she had an excuse to show it to someone. After all, it was Kai’s first time to visit Republic City.  

“So?  What do you think?”
