     He walked without purpose, aimlessly wandering through the      forest. Thoughts filled his mind, Kai glared between the trees      that filled his path. Admiring the view from below, the boy drew      in each small aspect, the greenery, the                     Taking a pause, Kai tilted his head towards his shoulder. Green           eyes peered onto a tree stump, dark brown brows rising at the           sight of a body.

                                          ❝ Hello? ❞

      Kai called out in a low, concerned t o n e. His heart slowly twisted       inside his chest, eyes adverting from the stump before moving       back to the spot. Puzzled, forehead wrinkled in suspicion, thoughts       spiraling uncontrollably as he wondered what stood before him.

              ❝ Anyone there? ❞

       Blue hues watched the boy from a tree branch, this was TOO easy.        Her gaze was ice cold as she stared at him, wondering why he was        even out here A L O N E.

                   ❝ --Just a lonely spirit, who’s asking? ❞

       Came the reply, confusion was easily seen in the boy, same as every        other mortal who came into the forest, she’d had her fun; now it’s time        to find out who this boy was.
