was it a bit presumptuous? yea, probably, but this feels like the path the two of them have been on since the two of them found out about each others’ alter egos. their flirting has been treading the line more and more, getting closer to something that wasn’t simply a friendly interaction. and it was obvious that he wasn’t the only one who felt this way about what was going on between the two of them. now it was just a matter of trying to determine how far the two of them were going to take it.

" Happy Father's Day!" Holding up the obviously hand-made card, Mayday's smile was stretched seemingly from ear-to-ear.

"My gosh, this is great, kiddo! You made this all by yourself? May, you astound me every year." Peter had that very same smile as he looked over the card. Colours could use some work, but bless her little heart.

She’d never even been outside Bournemouth before, aside from a few school field trips to London, and now she was thousands of miles away from home, from the pier, from the souvenir shop she wrecked, from her parents who, at the moment, were not speaking to her. They can’t quite find the words, or they’re still mad at her about the souvenir shop.

She didn’t know what to do with herself now that she’s in New York, in this giant boarding school, where she didn’t know anyone. So she kept to herself, it was sad. She was sad. So you can imagine her surprise when she came into her dorm room after school to find a classmate, Kitty Pryde, setting up snacks, and popcorn, and beanbags. Pippa looked confused for a moment. “What’s this?” She asked, more curious than upset, but not all the way happy, not yet.
