It's here! My fic for the MXTX Big Bang has been revealed and is now available to be read on AO3!

A huge thanks to the @mxtxbb mods for the event, it’s been so much fun!

The seed for this fic was planted in my head by the lovely Hyrule Cultivators series of comics by @supertaliart. I saw the first few - specifically the Nie brothers as the Gerudo! - and that concept just parked itself in the back of my mind to marinate for a while. Then when I was having to come up with something to write for the Big Bang it smacked me right between the eyes and here it is! I was partnered with the lovely and incredible @yuyu-finale, who has created some jaw-droppingly gorgeous pieces for this project. She's been such a joy to work with and y'all should definitely give her some love on Twitter (@yuyu_finale).

Summary:

However, as he frees the four Champions to aid him in his quest, and as his memories begin to return with each passing day, Wei Ying begins to uncover the truth about this feared Yiling Laozu - and the possibility that his own identity as nothing more than a humble swordsman is actually far from accurate. But no matter what his own truth may be, the fact remains that Hanguang-Jun - Lan Wangji, his Lan Zhan - needs his help, and Wei Ying will stop at absolutely nothing to protect those he loves.

This is the project that's been taking up so much of my time lately, and I'm SO glad to finally be able to share it with y'all! It's my first time not publishing as I write and it was a lot harder than I expected to not work with the lovely feedback y'all give me to keep me going but I did it! And don't forget to check out Yuyu's art if you haven't seen her stuff yet (she has so much respect for Hanguang-Jun. So much.) and also the Hyrule Cultivators series by supertaliart 😊 I hope my fic does the concept of a Breath of the Wild AU justice ♥

I got teamed up with the wonderful Opalsong who busted out this glorious fic “Private Studies”. It’s a Zixuan/Yanli/Guangyao fic, so please mind the tags!

I had a lot of fun working on this project, getting to go all out on patterns, playing around with perspective and getting to draw a very angry Xichen-ge and a dishevelled A-Yao. Makes me want to try to draw faces more expressive to get more emotion across. (*˙︶˙*)☆*°
