Glowing
people in queer spaces need to really chill out about male queerness. i'm not talking about the reality that the patriarchy is an oppressive destructive force. im talking about what happens when you apply those pressures on an individual scale. because individual queer men are not the patriarchy. and it's deeply hurtful when people push those assumptions based solely one someone's perceived masculinity. i've had people assume that just because i'm a trans man, i must have "betrayed feminism" somehow, which is just transphobic. for the love of god can we please stop pushing expectations on trans people just because of their gender? this applies to cis men as well, but the amount of "progressives" who care more about misandry than actual feminism on here is mind boggling to me.
I've been pspspsps'd into the mushroom circle.
