okay tired to do a face up for the first time. and. gotta say at first i was horrified at how bad it is, but i put him away and looked at him again 30min later and its not THAT bad, actually.
im gonna need to practice eyebrows a lot, but otherwise its not that terrible. i didnt seal between layers so the pastels kinda turned weird which was the main issue with them.
guess ill try again tomorrow, since its finally cold enough.
Okay so I'm one of those weirdos: I started "cuddling" with my doll in bed. I like it....
I never really cuddled with stuffed toys as a kid because even then they just felt too soft and too light for me, like I was barely even holding something. But my 70cm doll is heavier and hard and it feels nice to hold onto him. Like... a weighted toy.
Though I gotta say, when I was lying in bed holding onto him, and he was pretty cold and hard, I finally realized Bella wasn't completely wrong. Cuddling with Edward is probably similar.... (here I always thought she was an idiot and cuddling something warm and furry would always be superior. Def not in summer.)

decided to try the face up today, did 3 coats of sealant, but then i saw that there were big drops on his face. tried alcohol to get them off, didnt work. did a quick search on doa for other removers, tried nail polish remover... and im pretty sure it ate away a bit too much into the resin.
welp. lesson learned!!!
i ordered some mr tool cleaner and mr brush cleaner (and proper MSC, since i used a sealant a local shop was selling) and i will try again... later and see if this is fixable.

figured id make a proper post, so, I'm planning to turn my doll into Aizawa Shouta from BNHA.

scarf (i was thinking of making it out of canvas cloth)

face up (ill try to do it myself)

yellow sleeping bag!!! (no clue how im gonna do it. find a kids puffy winter coat and sew it out of that maybe?)

those jelly pouches (order a big one and cut it to size and make the mouth piece.. somehow...)

i ordered some clothes from alice's collection, but only when my boy arrived, because i didnt expect him to come so early. (ordered him on may 31st from newclover singing, he arrived on august 1st) so im gonna be waiting for a while!!!
now im debating whether i wanna try and make him a proper outfit or wait until i get my order. my sewing is def sloppy, but i havent found the main outfit i want him to wear, so ill either have to do with something thats similar enough or sew it myself away.

and hes basically wearing a black jumpsuit, which should be fairly "easy" to make. and since its black mistakes wont be as visible.
so i guess ill try.
i also want to make him a kimono. or buy, rather.
