Project Bryles
(I messed up the timeline and have no idea when and where showstoppers is, i don't live in or near America so ignore some things here and there)
It started out small. It was just teasing, like everyone teases their friends when they're young. They just didn't realise how right they were until they found Briar crying in the hotelroom that Jessy, Abbey and her shared.

Jessy's pov: Tanner, Devon and I are walking to the studio together. Today is the day that we are leaving for Showstoppers. I've been looking forward to this day, this week actually, for years. One of the dances i was the most confident with was 'Head vs Heart', the choreo for the dance isn't amazingly hard but has a surprisingly strong effect. At least that's how i see it.
I also have a duet with Myles, wich is pretty good too. But i have a feeling that Briar, Devon and Myles' is going to be better, since our chemistry is off and I have a crush on Tanner. And to be honest he probably has a crush on Briar. Like i'm almost certain of that. When i think that I smirk a little, from the corner of my eyes I see Devon and Tanner looking at me questioningly. "I was just thinking about Myles' obvious crush on Briar", i begin explaining.
Devon just nodded while Tanner went into a full out rant: "Yeah, they so like each other. It's evident for any outsider, but they're as oblivious as ever. I don't think they even know it themselve. I bet Myles sometimes looks at her and goes: 'I would never date anyone who isn't her' and 5 seconds later he's like: 'she's my best friend.' and 'totally platonic though.' You know what? This is going to be my goal this year at Showstoppers. Making them realise they are totally in love with each other. Who's in?"
"I'm in I guess, as long no one gets hurt. Physically and mentally wise", Devon stated.
"Yeah, me too." I really wanted them to be together, i was sure they would be even happier then they already were. But no one wants to cause the same drama as last time, when we tried to match make Abi and Myles. Now they're good friends, but they hated each other for a while back then. And it was kind of bad and maybe a little our fault. But it's all good now.
"Should we inform the others? They are going to catch op eventually, and i don't want any problems. Teamwork is crucial, especially in our dances. Messing with the atmosphere is something i really don't want to do." Devon looked at us, when he said the last sentence.
"Yeah, I'll text Abi on the plane and sent one to the boys' groupchat", Tanner started, "But if they don't want in it's not our problem okay?"
"Okay, but maybe don't text the group! Myles is in there, remember? He's part of the team."
"I meant I was going to make a group without him and put all the others in, you know. I'm not that stupid. Actually, we can make a groupchat with anyone who's in on project Bryles." Tanner rolled his eyes.
"That's indeed not the worst idea you've had." I replied. Oh how i loved pissing him off.
"Geez, thanks... I guess." Tanner went with his hand trough his hair, messing it up in a way every guy does. He's one of the only people i don't get annoyed with when he does that. Probably because he doesn't do it every 5 seconds, like t a guy in my class.
And that was that, the guys began talking about a part in their dance 'heroes'. I haven't seen that dance yet and neither has Briar so i'll just ask her to ask Myles to watch one of their rehearsels on stage. God knows she can make him do anything. The dance sounded promising, maybe even better than 'oorah' and that says a lot.

When we arrived at the studio, almost everyone was already there. The only ones missing were Briar and Abbey. That's strange, normally Briar was one of the first ones here. Taking my phone i sent a text message to her, while simultaneously walking to Myles. "Do you know where Briar is?" I asked him.
"Yeah i texted her when i arrived and she wasn't here. The only thing she sent me was that, and i qoute, 'she was running late. Weird." So she didn't sent him an explanation? Now that's weird. I was seriously getting worried now. I went back to the girls, asking them if they knew where she was. Though the chance was little, if Myles didn't know where she was, they sure as hell weren't going to either. At last i received a reply:
Where are you {09:14} Got held up, am almost there {09:24} Ill explain on the plane. Prob w/ Abbey {09:25}
"Briar says she's almost here", I say loudly, looking back to see if Myles heard me. He gives ma a thumb up and continues his conversation.
10 Minutes later Abbey and Briar run into the room: "I'm sorry we're late, just a personal problem." Briar begins, only to realise Allain isn't even here and she shouldn't explain herself to us. She blushes furiously and walks to us.
"Is everything alright?", Abi asks before quickly continuing: "I know it's a personal problem so you don't have to tell me! It's just that even Myles didn't know, and he was clearly worried, and now I'm worried. Because when Myles gets worried it's serious so everyone gets worried, and he didn't know so-" She took a deep breath. "I'm rambling, aren't i?"
All the girls nodded their head, smiling a little. "Anyway the point is Jessy was worried and Myles was worried and Abbey wasn't here so i was worried too."
"Awww Jess, you were worried? That's cute!" Briar said smirking at me. "So would you be, if your best friend who's always on time, hell even always early, was late you would be freaking out much more than i was. Am i right ladies?" I said looking at all the girl surrounding me. The thing i liked about CDC was that everyone was nice and got along. It was just a warm and familiar atmosphere that i loved. The same feeling you get in cozy streets in the winter, when the snow coats the streets and you look inside where you see a family sitting around the fireplace. Laughing and drinking hot cacao, until your tummy aches and you're warm all over.
"Earth to Jessy! You here, good. Sit next to me on the plane?" Briar said looking at me... unsurely? Like i would sit next to anyone else!
"Wasn't that already arranged?", I answered. "You have told Myles already though? I don't want to hear his disappointed cries!" I said smirking. "Ha ha very funny!" Briar said, laughing along with all the girls. "But I haven't actually said hi to him today... Are you guys coming with me? Let's annoy the guys!"
Briar turned around and walked towards them. Myles' back was turned to us and i could already see a plan working in her head when she began smirking. Briar broke into a full out run and jumped on his back. "Missed me?" Myles stumbled before regaining his balance wrapping his hands around her thighs to unsure that she didn't fall of.
"Tremendously! I cannot go a day without you. You are my light and the reason for my life. Now come of my back, so i can see that beautiful face i have been longing to see for all week!" Myles said sarcastically. Rolling his eyes at Devon who was standing in front of him, also the only one who wasn't bent over laughing.
"Nahh, I'm comfortable! And you should be happy: you don't have to kneel for me!" Briar said, clasping her hands together in front of his neck, a clear sign she wasn't going to let go.
"Is there any point in trying to get you off?" Myles asks, turning his head around trying to see her. Briar leaned a little forward, making it easier for him to see her face.
"Nope!" She said happily and then turned her head to talk to Devon. I went to stand next to Tanner together with Abi. Abi and Tanner were good friends. Like really good, i think he may like her. Even though he keeps insisting he doesn't but so do Briar and Myles. They're always like: "Would you date that?" And "God no!" And 10 seconds later they are back to this. These couply things.
I shake my head, trying to clear my mind. "Are you alright Jess? This is the second time in half an hour that you completely zoned out? What's on your mind?" Abi asks me.
I just shake my head, looking at Tanner. "It's just... Bryles. Briar and Myles i mean. Tanner and I were thinking that, if we don't do anything nothing is going to happen. So on our trip we are going to give them a little push in the back. Only a little though!!" Saying the last part quickly, when I saw she was starting to protest.
Abi stared a little to a point over my shoulder. "Im in, only -" when we both started to cheer, "only if no one and absolutely no one gets hurt."
"Okay, okay!!" I go over and hug her, smiling. Okay now the rest of the team...

Myles finally got Briar to let him go when we were ready to step on the bus to the airport. Walking into the plane i choose a spot in the back next to a window in front of the boys. Tanner and Devon and Myles two rows behind us.
I settle in the seat on the plane next to Briar. This isn't a very long plane ride but i still brought a cushion with me. When i'm finally completely settled in a turn and face Briar: "Now explain it to me."
And that she did

(A/n) There will definitely be a part 2 and probably 3, idk when tho. I read somewhere in a fic that Tanner and Jessy were together idk if that's true either but i just took it cuz' it's kinda cute, they will be together (too) by the end of the fic, i hope anyway! Also, also Head vs Heart is the best thing in existence...
