I HAVE NO CHILL EITHER THAT’S WHY YOU’RE THE LOML
“Apart from being sexy, what do you do for a living?”
Sage rolled her eyes and laughed when a drunken Mo approached her at the bar. For a half-second, she wondered if he even realized who he was talking to. She gave the guy she was talking to a look to assure him that he was still on her radar, so he stayed put. “You’re drunk as a skunk aren’t you?” Sage chuckled. She put a hand on his arm as Mo gently swayed in his place. “You know what I do for a living, ya dummy. We work together, in case you forgot,” She played, giving him a grin. Knowing that her chances to play pranks on Mo were few and far between, she decided to take the opportunity as it presented itself. “Hey!” She began, over-enthusiastically. “You know who I think would really be into that line?” Sage asked, grinning like a bandit. “Dani! You should totally go try it on her next."
“My sexual preference is often.”
“Good thing that’s not what I asked,” Sage laughed, peeking up at Mo from behind the takeaway menu. The had the place to themselves and decided to make the best of a lazy, rainy Sunday. Neither of them particularly knew where they were in terms of their relationship (or lack thereof), but Mo had started spending more and more nights over at her place. Not that she minded, in fact, she liked a lot more than she’d even noticed. So, she thought, why ruin it with a conversation that she didn’t even want to have herself? Sage looked at the clock to see how long they had until Chinese food arrived, and tossed the paper menu onto the coffee table. “We’ve got time,” She shrugged before she slowly crawled on top of Mo. Sage made a trail of kisses up his chest, his collarbone and up until she was under his jaw. “Think we can sneak another round in before the delivery guy shows?"
“Is there a mirror in your pocket? Because I look great- wait, I said that wrong.”
Mo murmuring in her ear made an excited chill run down Sage’s spine. She turned her cheek in his direction and smirked, leaning herself back against him. Only when she realized what he said—or what he was attempting to say— did she start to giggle. She turned around to face him and gently ran her hands down his chest and back up. She could feel the muscles under his shirt that she was becoming more and more familiar with. And, feeling a little frisky, she shrugged her shoulders coyly. “Do you want me to walk by again so you can try that one more time?” Sage asked before sliding out of her heels. “Or, y’know,” She continued as she shimmied out of her jeans and tossed them to Mo. “You can go ahead and check the pockets yourself.”
“What’s your favorite silverware? Because I like to spoon!”
Sage didn’t even look up from the recipe she’d printed from the internet. She knew she was missing something, but she couldn’t remember what until—vanilla extract. “If I look up and you’ve got a spoon in your hand—“ She mumbled before looking up a Mo. “You’re so lame!” Sage laughed in response. She squealed when Mo wrapped his arms around her in a tight hold that was playfully tried to squirm her way out of. When she finally conceded, she looked up at Mo with a smile on her face until she got an idea of her own. “And here I thought you would’ve said that you like to fork,” Sage responded, picking up a fork from the drawer, earning herself some laughter and a kiss.
“Ah, ah, not till I give you permission.”
Sage had realized that she sort of liked it when Mo told her what to do in bed. Okay, maybe she liked it a lot, since it was just about the only time she ever let anyone tell her what to do. She liked how smitten he looked and the way that he kept his hands on her like he might go crazy if he didn’t. But when she went to get him out of his bands and he told her she had to wait, she laughed something breathy and frustrated before burying her face into the crook of his neck. “You’re killing me, baby,” She whined before she picked her head back up. Sage kissed him heatedly, holding his jaw between her hands and rolling her hips against his.
