Empty and I are doing Broken Harbor right now and he's very nearly predicted all the major points of the case. He largely did this by trying to match the themes of what's going on with Det Kennedy's family to that of the case. He hasn't even gotten to the part where it turns out his mom took Dinah with her, just that his mom committed suicide and that his family was told to watch out for Dinah.

For reference, we had just done the first long interrogation with Connor. The other part that tipped him off pretty hard as Connor's reaction to learning who survived 😂 Freaking observant

Something I think is really cute is that when I told Empty about my poll, I guess I got his gears turning (this is a fav show of his and is the reason I tried it at all). Last night he said if I ever do liveblog it to give him a heads up because he'd want to add some Star Trek knowledge I wouldn't have as I'm not generally much of a Trekkie. I asked him the specifics of how that would work in practical terms. Turns out he just meant he'd watch the episode beforehand and give me a bit of an info dump before I got started. I just thought that was really cute. ^‿^
