Since there's basically peace for Ravka now, can Zoya occasionally leave the Triumvirate in charge and go on seafaring adventures with Nikolai? Please?
Imagine the crows in a modern AU playing Monopoly. It would absolute chaos! The games last for days, money changing hands under the table, houses and hotels popping up out of nowhere. Wylan is the only one who's ever won a game. Matthias has definitely flipped the board over. Kuwei has set it on fire. Inej is the only one who doesn't cheat. She's also the first to go bankrupt every time.
"Thank you for finding me."

He was gone. He'd left her. It had only been a matter of time. He'd left her iron grip for the freedom of the sea. He was gone.
"Zoya."
And yet there was his voice, ringing golden from the darkness.
"Zoya, wake up." His hands were warm and strong where they touched her face. They were still scarred black. King of scars. Her king. "It's all right."
"Nikolai?" Zoya's voice was rough, from sleep or from screaming, she wasn't sure. "Kolya."
His blackened thumbs stroked her cheeks, his smile vague and gentle and reassuring. "It was just a nightmare," he said. "You're safe now."
He's here, she told herself. Even with his hands on her, she couldn't quite believe it. "I dreamed you left," she said, "that you became Sturmhond permanently and left me here alone."
The very suggestion of it had a little furrow forming between Nikolai's brows. "I would never," he said, his voice as gentle as she had ever heard it.
Zoya wound her arms around his waist, pulling him closer, his chest pressed to hers, his cheek against her temple. Even just the smell of him calmed her down somewhat. She breathed it in as deeply as she could.
"I wouldn't," he told her, his voice muffled into her hair. His hands were careful where they touched her, though firm in keeping her close. "I couldn't."
Pressing her fingertips into the bare skin of Nikolai's back, Zoya asks, "Couldn't you?"
He pulled back, propping himself above her on his elbows, meeting her eyes with his. "Not for all the riches and all the treasure in all the world."
The dream, if it was a dream at all and not a premonition from Juris, still hung heavy over Zoya, poised over her heart like a blade, ready to fall. She asked, "You're certain?"
He kissed her, softly, sweetly. Why do you never kiss me sweetly in the morning, Zoya? his voice echoed in the back of her mind, and she kissed him back, doing her best to lose herself in the warmth of his arms, the softness of his mouth. "Zoya," he said when he pulled back, his lips brushing hers with every word, "you are my treasure."
It’s just not possible to make a Zoya moodboard without using this particular picture, is it?
