lantern - how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other?

Well, I met her on this hell site we’re all on lmao. Mads and I were mutuals (back when she had a bts blog) until she deleted her blog on accident (who even does that lmao) and she was worried I would think she purposefully unfollowed me, so she messaged me to tell me what happened, which was the first time we ever spoke beyond little ask games we’d tag each other in. 

My first impression was that she was super sweet, hilarious, wildly interesting, and absolutely fucking insane. So naturally, I was like, oh, this is my soulmate, where the fuck have you been all my life? Legit what should have been a simple few messages turned into us talking every single day and sharing every piece of our lives with each other. I genuinely have never felt so comfortable talking to another person, I immediately felt like I could be myself and open up to her and that is beyond rare for me. Kinda crazy honestly. And we’re both just two dumbasses so it works out well. 

I don’t know what her first impression was of me, I think she just thought I was nice haha. I wasn’t AS insane right away so I don’t think she realized how we matched each other’s craziness until later. But the obsession with each other has been pretty damn mutual since day one- I’m just more forward than she is so I have no shame in showing my obsession to the world whereas she’s a bit more lowkey lol.
