Mom calls in excited panic just to say current Jeopardy champion is Canadian

HALIFAX, NS - Earlier this week, Eleanor Weaver, 23, got a panicked call from her mother around 10pm just to say that the current Jeopardy champion, Mattea Roach, is Canadian.

What a fuckin day.! AND I get to visit my MIL this weekend when Niall does back on tour. This is when I hate my life.

Do you ever have a dream about someone you know doing something crappy and then you wake up and realize it was a dream but you're still kind of irrationally angry at them?

Yeah, me right now.

Praying & believing in hope!

We have to go back to Maine this Friday! My MIL, Peggy, fell on ice last Wednesday and has been intubated since then. She sustained two skull fractures, followed by brain swelling. Today they will try to let her breath on her own. We are praying so hard she can do it, as the risk of infection triples if they have to intubate her again! The prognosis as of now: -5 more weeks in the hospital -6 months of rehab We have no idea what she will remember or what will happen, but believe wholeheartedly she can recover. She is 18 months away from retirement, almost 63 and looking forward to becoming a grandma in the next couple of years & enjoying her time off. She has taught for 30+ years! My hubby is an only child and an only grandchild on his Father's side. This has been so tough on him and his Dad! Both My in-laws LIVE for Christmas! That's all they really talk about all year long! On December 26th, they usually wake up super early and go shopping for Christmas/Holiday decorations and paper for the following year. They just love this Holiday, so, so much! All of the times during the year why now, why now? I know the answer but... There's never a good time, but Today is not what I need nor can give! I'm a bit angry & resentful, I must admit that, but I'm letting it all out now and after a long walk today, I will resume to praying and leaving in the Universe and God's hands! If you have read through this post, please pray for our beloved Peggy Dearborn! We can use all the prayer & good energy we can garnish today and in the following weeks and months! I will continue, in the meantime, praying for her health, for strength for my FIL (Danny), for patience and wisdom so that I can be the most supportive wife I can be for Dears, my hubby! Thanks!
