One day, it will end. They will break away and move on, but I'll be left in the back, wishing someone would slow down enough to join me. As if we were walking, in a group, and suddenly I was forgotten, leaving me with little care and motivation to catch up but having enough energy to understand I was hurt by it.

We met a fork in the road, and instead of going forwards together, they went their separate ways. The only thing left was me, walking through the path they should have been on, wishing that they never had to come to the point where we would have to choose.
