AU. Alternate universe where Troy meets Madison in his senior year of high school. For this timeline, he's 19 at the time and she's like..38 give or take. Anyways, Troy tries to be a good student who's moved to Los Angeles so he can finish school. However, things aren't as easy as they seem and he has trouble connecting with other students and ends up getting into fights a lot. That's where he meets Madison. Unlike his other teachers who've written him off she actively tries to help him out by tutoring him in classes he's not doing so well in and taking the time in her office to listen to whatever is on his mind. She’s the only person he feels any kind of connection with. He seeks her out at the school, showing up to her office to ‘talk’ but Madison begins to realize that many of his ‘emotional moments’ are a total front just to have her attention.
