Siegfried and Reinhard!

Also known (if you’re conversing with me about Legend of the Galactic Heroes) as, variously, “anime Spock and Kirk”, “yaoi Spock and Kirk”, or “red-haired Spock and non-fat Kirk”. ...I should, perhaps, get out more.

Siegfried was originally the “Butler” Taeyang but I re-wigged him because Butler’s hair resembles a worn-out mop in both appearance and texture. Reinhard is just the “Albireo” Taeyang, no modifications there because he looks like Reinhard towards the end of the series when he was apparently trying to do his best Lady Oscar Francois de Jarjeyes impression.

And yes, Reinhard does, canonically, have a thing about playing with Siegfried’s hair. It’s...pretty damn cute.

Bonus shot with my translated LoGH novels. The fourth one can’t come out soon enough! I tried to get Reinhard to sit like Captain Kirk but the material his pants are made out of kept getting in the way. Pooh.

“Really, just look at this hair. It looks like a desiccated mop that was held too close to a stove.”

“All right. Much better. Thank you!”

Introducing Siegfried Kircheis, the newest addition to the Pullip population overtaking co-habitating my apartment! He was originally the “Butler” doll but dear sweet baby Jesus, look at that wig.

Like, look at the damn thing. Yikes.

Yeah. Anyway, I took off the...thing...from his head and replaced it with a nice red wig and now I have a Sieg to go with my Reinhard von Lohengramm. Can’t have one without the other, don’t you know; Reinhard might skew his moral compass and unleash all-out war on my Myth Cloths or something.

For further reference, here is the aforementioned Captain Tristan Lachance (in the top-left corner) and his Amazing Hat of Epic.

I guess I should amend my description of him from the last post to “he collects lost people in general” and not just orphans etc.- Marquis Cavalie Dangeau (top right corner) was his best friend and they became, um, closer after Cavalie’s wife died and sent him into a spiral of depression.

Middle row is Cavalie’s daughter Èlise. She’s quite young and quite sheltered, since her father wants to protect that last earthly piece of his dead wife. The “sheltered” bit of things makes her seem even younger than eleven. The metal and bejeweled cat she’s holding is actually my Mom’s mother’s bracelet! I think I’ve worn it out of my house once. I’m terrified of losing it since it’s the only thing I have of my grandmother, aside from apparently her appearance and a lot of her tastes in food. So I figured it would be a good visual comparison.

Third row, left corner is another picture of Sylvestre, posing with an octopus. How is there an octopus on land? I’m not sure, but they have been known to escape enclosures and travel across floors, etc., if they get bored. (I’m not even kidding, you can look this up. Octopuses are fascinating creatures.)

Third row, right corner is Kavni. She’s an Indian princess who stowed away on Tristan’s ship one time to avoid an arranged marriage. Kavni is pretty much the embodiment of the phrase “[a]nd though she be but little, she is fierce.” Tristan let her stay on the ship after hearing her story when he found out she had stowed away. (This picture was actually taken at my Mom’s house, at Christmastime; she’s guarding the cookies.)
