The Character I've Had Since I Started Writing

There has been a character that I have had since I was very little. You see, when I was little I had very few friends. To top it off, my brother and sister were far older than me and were at the age where playing with me was not always fun. So I was left to my own devices. My character came about when I started to play with my stuffed animals and myself. My stuffed animals were given personalities, from evil to good. At the same time, I was pretending to become something that I was not. I was no longer the Jana who had no friends, was bullied, and didn't know how to interact with people. I became Jana who was friends with everyone, didn't take shit from anyone, and who had crazy strength, both physically and mentally. 

It was when I blossomed and learned how much I loved to write, when my imaginary self was not me, but was a character for me to write about. 

Since my character was born, she has grown just as much as I had, but in her own way. She now has a background, she has flaws, she has personality, and she has become her own person.
