Since returning to Boca, one of Leandro Paredes’s goals was to support and help Exequiel Zeballos recover. And the work paid off. “Since he arrived, he has shown me a lot of affection. He helps all of us younger players a lot,” Zeballos said during his visit to Santiago del Estero, once again giving credit to the support of the Xeneize captain. Paredes’s support was so great that in the last match against Racing, his displeasure was noticeable when Ubeda replaced Zeballos, who had been Boca’s best player in that semifinal that would ultimately end in elimination.
