Now that I’ve completed all 70, time for photos with the f/os 😌❤️

One thing I like about persona is that non nuclear families are just a thing and while it does affect the characters characterization, but these types of families aren’t made out to be a bad thing just because they deviate from the typical family structure (both western and Japanese). Ryuji and Kanji are both raised by single mothers. Ryotaro is a single father raising Nanako. Sojiro and Iwai are single fathers who adopted their children. Naoto is raised by her granddad. Sae is Makoto’s guardian. The temperance arcana in persona 4 (I forgot her name) is a step mother who yes does struggle with bonding with her son in law. But she isn’t portrayed as a bad step mom for it.

I just think it is refreshing. Like they’re just treated like any other type of family. It isn’t ”if you had BOTH PARENTS ALIVE everything would be as it should be aka normal.”

Cop Chie and Tired Dojima

Either in a bit of dialogue I missed in *Persona 4* or in one of the *Arena* spin-offs. Chie is working to become a cop. And that just gave me a wonderful hilarious idea, because you know who else is a police officer in Persona 4? (technically a detective, but still counts) Ryotaro Dojima..

Now, logically, by the time Chie is an adult and finishes police training, Ryotaro would probably be retired. But I think it would be hilarious if Chie turns into his new police sidekick, and poor Ryotaro is not prepared!

Her first instinct is always “Criminal = Bad, solution: Attack!”

Meanwhile Ryotaro’s trying to de-escalate: “We’re just writing him a speeding ticket. We’re not arresting him.”

Or when they actually handle a serious crime. Ryotaro has the suspect in custody, going strictly by the book, securing the handcuffs—when suddenly:

“I’LL HANDLE HIM, BOSS!”

[Galactic punts the poor guy into the sky]

It's so quick, Ryotaro barely has time to process what the hell just happened, how the hell she was even able to kick that guy so far, It shouldn't be possible physics wise.

(That guy isn't coming back, they never find the body because--how could they? But that kick sent him into orbit straight into the sun, he's gone. R.I.P. Petty Criminal)
