Me: Just so you know, anti-American sentiment is high at the moment regarding tourists, so if they hear us speaking English when we're in Brazil we might need to let them know we're Canadian.
My Mom: Excuse you, we're Brazilian. We'll point at [stepdad] and go "He's Canadian!".
Me: ...Works for me!
(OOC: I had a very deep talk with my stepdad today.)
(OOC: He’s super serious about getting me a provisional driving license so that I can get some driving lessons.)
(OOC: Then after the whole talk, we prattled on about his… habits, so to speak. And then we spoke about what kind of life I wanted, which I said: “I want a peaceful life that isn’t a lonely life, but, I don’t exactly know where to start.”)
(OOC: As such, he advised that I go out more, using bowling as an example.)
(OOC: …It… made me realise just how little I socialise-)
(OOC: Regardless, I’m glad I got to chat with him! We even had a bit of laugh and a joke together! It was awesome! ^^)
(OOC: It made me feel like we got to understand each other a bit more as stepfather and stepdaughter! I felt like I’ve gotten a bit closer with him! ^^)

I dragged my stepdad to watch Wicked with me.
According to him, he liked it but he thinks the Barbie movie was better. His exact words were
"I wasn't quite sure of what was happening but it was a good movie. Not as good as Barbie, like some people were saying, but it was good."
Note: He didn't know what was going on in the Barbie movie either. According to my mom he never knows what's going on in the shows they watch together either. lol

My step dad just told me that Phineas and Ferb is not age appropriate for my almost 5 year old sister, when she’s been watching how to train your dragon for years now. Like, what?
My stepdad was found dead today.
Me and my siblings went out to go and eat, we arrived home and seen a police car outside. We thought maybe our stepdad was home and my niece call the cops. When we went to ask what happened they said they found his body at 1:00PM today.
He died at the park, they said it look like he just walked up towards the skating rink and layed down and just fell asleep.
