YES!! I feel amazing about season 2, so much has happened that I don't even know what to say…

SO MANY THINGS

To begin with, what amazing songs, so many delicious things! There is so much new information to think about, to speculate, so many new sides of the characters' personalities have been revealed

The dynamics of Vees, the past of Alastor, Vox and Pentious, the Angels! So many overclocking for arcs, I'm thrilled!! Separately, I want to say that I was incredibly touched by the whole situation with Vees, as far as they were willing to support Vox to the end, and even after his breakdown, they did not abandon him, brought him to his senses and took him with them,,, Lil sketch

you guys have got to read Ash and Milk for a mikoto-centric character study. it's ~17k words long with the provided summary:

Mikoto's life in the years between the death of her best friend and the downfall of her clan. An exploration of grief and mourning.

and it is so good. aughhh just twisted the knife relentlessly when i realized where it was going with the mangekyou. (mikoto. mikoto.) and the culmination in the penultimate section when she & itachi confront each other! the frissons; the fraughtness!

everything she does for kushina, for naruto. the years-long postpartum depression. perhaps the only clan & council politicking scenes i've found thrilling, due to the worldbuilding. (@valiant-typhoon, if you ever read this, i'm rly curious abt your thoughts on the 4th section "Escalation." i did not expect that tsunade encounter & she bowled me over.)

it's criminal that more folks haven't read it bc CGArcher14 only posted it on Spacebattles, as far as i can tell. read it!! save it for a free hour!

Okay, listen up, I need to get this off my head 😅

My big Roman Empire is probably Kabuto's past. Of course, Naruto has many interesting, moving backstories. But I've always thought most about Kabuto's past and who he could be.

Because what if...what is his real name and surname?

Who were his parents? Shinobi? Or were they medic-nin? Or maybe other options?

So many questions

my personal headcanons; maybe it's obvious and nothing groundbreaking, but... I think someone from the orphanage, someone (maybe even Nonō?) assigned him his birthday; February 29th. Since he probably didn't even remember it, like many things.
