guess who just made a new bookbinding tool! this is a plough, which is used for trimming edges. (here's a video of one being used so you can see what I'm talking about!) this particular plough is 3D printed using generic PLA and this pattern, with the blade being a 100mm electric kebab blade as recommended by the makers of that pattern. the blade guard is a different color so I can see if the blade is exposed at a glance, which is a safety feature because the edge is very sharp. it's very lightweight but also strong and I'm eager to get some textblocks going so I can try it out...
New tool for the collection! I don't know how tickly it will be, but I think the flexibility it has makes it a great vibrator for more sensual play

absolutely adore your art style and the brushes you use are so perfect what app is it!!!!!!!
also! do you have any tips, the anatomy is always gorg and you render things so beautifully😭💖
Yea of course!
I use the free app Tatasui Sketches! Or sketches for short lol. I bought the pro version in like….2010 and I’ve had it ever sense. (I don’t remember how much the membership costs but it should be around 5-9$) so not a lot but it does cost to include more features, and the membership lasts forever. Not to sponsor them lol
As for anatomy, I use line of action to do figure studies! The more the merrier. Do so many that your hands hurt! Even the shitty ones are good practice. Medical books are a plus too to understand where the meat of everything is and how it all twists.
Just have fun with it. Draw for yourself even if it’s bad don’t stop! No one sees it other than you until you get something good out!
Sometimes I use photoshop too if you’re interested in those brushes too :0)
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling us what art software you primarily use.
(This feels like a personal question even though I don't think it is?? Lol)
Alternatively, do you feel like sharing your general opinion(s) about any art software you've used?
I actually have so many "technical" art questions for you, but I won't be annoying lol.
Hi! Sure no problem!
I may have mentioned this before but I still use the open-source (free) software Krita! I am a Windows and Linux person so this was just the best choice for my computer and Huion tablet combo. And did I mention, it's FREE! and I got a free pencil brush pack that I use every day.
I don't have much experience with other applications bc of the steep (subjective) prices/subscriptions and even some cancelation fees.
When starting my digital art journey I just did not want to invest too much should I not enjoy it.
I am not an Apple stan so can't speak on the workflow of Procreate and Apple devices themselves. I have nitpicks from what I have seen of Procreate tools, but people really like it and it is portable, unlike my setup.
If you have more questions let me know. I may not have all the answers but maybe I can point you in the right direction.
11. Share a photo of your favorite tool(s) and describe what you use them for.
From this ask game!
Toooool time! I have three favorites, each from a different, distinct part of my practice: my Alleyman's Tarot deck, my spirit bell, and a small box of plain white chalk.
Alleyman's Tarot is kind of obvious -- it's for divination! (: I use it far more than any other deck I own, because it's so versatile. (The box is covered in stickers because that's how I devote something to my practice!)
The bell lives on my spirit work altar. It serves a handful of purposes. It's mostly for cleansing my altar space, but it also serves as a method to call my spirit allies closer. I'll ring it before any meditative practice (meditation, scrying, etc.) or to clear the air after a particularly heavy working. It also forms a focal point on my altar for my devotional/ritual jewelry to settle around! (:
And the chalk! I use chalk to draw out notes for spells as I'm casting them, drawing sigils on various surfaces, writing notes to self, creating doors for spirits to pass through, and so much more. There are endless possibilities for a little stick of plain white chalk. Versatile and simple and literally $2 for a pack of 24.
