I'd like to reiterate my last reblogs with my own post. If I click on your bio (which I tend to do with new followers) and I immediately see a personal bio or carrd with a dni list, even a single trigger, a single personal trauma story, a request to be sensitive, a list of headmates and their roles, what you do after school, how you feel about yourself, etc. etc.
If you're a minor specifically and you list even a single mental illness or neurodivergence
I assure you that I immediately recognize that I have been given power over you.
This isn't a joke, and it's not me being a weirdo who doesn't mind her own business. You are giving it to me. My immediate thought is of how vulnerable I would be if everyone who saw me suddenly knew all of this about me. I get a heck of a lot of affective empathy and it shakes me to see.
It makes me very uncomfortable to know that I have power over someone. Emotionally. Especially someone I don't know. Especially a kid.
But there are people who revel in it.
Let me repeat this: If you follow me and you have a personal carrd that says anything more than your pseudonym(s) and relevant topics you post about, I have power over you. I could hurt you. Are you okay with that? Because I'm not.
