hello, i saw your post and i gotta say, your art is amazing!! but i also saw u mention your tulpa and was wondering if you could explain what a tulpa is & how it works? (ik i can google it but it's a bit difficult for me to understand things unless i hear it from a person) i'm sorry if this is too personal! i'm just genuinely very interested in learning about it. (and also i'm curious if you named your tulpa or if they name themselves!) if ever u answer this, ty for ur time!!

Hey! Thank you so much for your ask and I'm sorry if I took a while to answer this. I'm very new to the idea of Tulpas and I certainly am not an expert. So I tried to get as much research before I answered your ask. 

From my understanding, a Tulpa is a separate way of thinking. As if putting your mind within a different perspective. The easiest way to explain this is that a Tulpa is an imaginary friend. Just more dignified. 

Tulpas are not DID.

Tulpas can name themselves but they are not the result of a traumatic event and are not a disorder. They are simply head mates in a sense.

Personally, I have a few Tulpas, a few of them are more developed than the others. One of the easiest ways for them to talk to others is online with different styles as shown below. If they are fronting they will tell the people they are talking to and just text normally without any styles.
