I refilmed a bass cover of You’re No Fun Anymore!! The first time I did it was when I was just learning bass and I was sitting on the floor in the video skdjhsldg... so I hope this is better than that one ,,,

(1/?)ur urls made me think of deaf/hoh gerard and frank, kinda like your fic but i just. frank never thought he'd need to learn to sign cause he can kinda hear and he's verbal but he learned with gerard when his hearing started to go. he prefers it to being verbal because it feels intimate with gerard, a way for only them to talk, for them to have their own conversations when around hearing people.

(2) frank feels kind of stuck between hearing and non hearing worlds, because there’s nothing about him that says ‘hey i can’t really hear’. he still plays guitar, and gerard likes to watch, watching franks hands move in a way that it doesn’t when they sign together, and he gets so into it. gerard can’t hear all of the things that frank plays, but he likes to see how focused frank is on something he loves, other than gerard.
