i thought it might be fun to try to translate the first page of ninefox gambit into my conlang but then i remembered 'threshold winnower' appears on the first page, and i consulted the text and it's in the first sentence. so that's out

myconlang is up to crude translation! original text, very rough translation, and painstakingly literal re-translation:
