AUGH i was trying to capture Jayden Revri's smile lmk what u guys think. kind of hard to draw someones specific smile in a cartoon style (at least for meee maybe i don't have enough practice)

btw my computer was trying to explode while i was drawing this because of all of the programs and tabs and probably a little bit of malware and never letting it update or even restart

this is what it looked like last time I took progress screenshots (that I may not have posted to Tumblr oopsies...)

definitely some HUUGE improvements. it took me a while to figure out how to UV map the face to minimize stretching so I could draw her features how i wanted lol. I also reshaped her face a little. I like it a LOT better now. & I ofc got all the transparent hair bits figured out yippee!!

had a crashout while drawing this bc the color i had originally picked for her jacket looked completely batshit on my phone 😞 bc of the way colors display on different screens ig? still i have NEVER had a difference that stark. it was only the jacket color too so it fucked up the color relationships 😭😭 rip the obnoxious bright lavender i was going to use </3 just couldn't get it to work

what if their disguises were scarier

kept thinking as i was watching that their disguises are waayyy overpowered like what do you mean they can just mascquerade as living humans at any time??

so what if their disguises were uncanny valley freaky. what if they can still talk to people but the longer they do it the more people notice that there's something just a bit off with them. they cannot keep this up for long

(also im not scared of dolls at all so let me know if you think edwin is creepy enough 😭 i cant tell)

another Monty doodle, 2 diff color palettes bc im not suurreee what i want to do with him. bit different face shape than the last drawing i did of him, too. ugh i love Monty so muchh 😩 i can't settle exactly on how i want to stylize him

side note. you may notice his eyes are lopsided (it was this way in my other drawing of him too). this is intentional bc im pretty sure one of Joshua Colley's eyes is ever-so-slightly lower than the other & i think its so striking and PERFECT for a character who was whipped up in a witches hut in like 2 mins
