Finaly ready for some good old fashion rpg
Varg Vikerness made his own D&D style tabletop game...
I am both blown away by just the concept alone, and morbidly curious...
This seems like a good time to remind everyone to buy myfarog
You can tell I haven't been playing RPG's lately because of the insane lack of original content on my blog, here. Bummed about it. But I have been looking at a new system called MYFAROG (MYthic FAntasy ROleplaying Game). It's an Old Norse-inspired RPG created by black metal legend Varg Vikernes. The system is deep and complex, relying on a 3d6 die system and a heavy emphasis on roleplaying - though the game can be played in a "rules light" kind of way to simplify the process. From what I've read so far I like it. There's a lot of interesting flavor for the world and the mechanics are unique. The book itself is rather poorly put together, though that's to be expected since he did it all himself. To clarify, the book isn't very user-friendly, in that if you're looking at a heal spell, it might send you to the healing skill, then the alchemy skill, then to casting magic, round and round throughout the book. Though that doesn't stop me from enjoying it and looking forward to learning more about MYFAROG.
