Albert's token of goodwill to Chris for his services.
Albert stalked down the dimly lit hall; the only sources of light shone the crisscrossed wired silhouettes, his leather digits grasping a small yet flimsy cardboard box. It had been countless months since his guest had been living alongside him, performing almost all the tasks he had ordered from his subject, while he punished any errors or their failure to comply to his demands, he never rewarded competence.
As he drew nearer to the door to Chris’s loving abode, the heels of Albert’s leather boots ceased their movement while he punched in the code to the allotted room. Noiselessly, the rust encrusted door slid back into the wall. The utmost care and due attention had been carried out in allowing his guest the proper facilities such as living arrangements, bathing area and kitchen applications.
“Christopher, I have obtained a token of good will for you. I’d advise you to make haste and receive it from me.“ The icy tones rang out as he sat parcel on the aged walnut table, then sat down on the leather clad sofa that had been situated in a circular fashion around the surface. The fingers pried the tabs of the box apart and withdrew a purple body hugging suit, with black adoring the back and kneepads. Albert turned the outfit around to inspect the condition of the rest of the suit, the metal caps embedded in the material glittered In the light that filled the room.
Placing the limp suit on the table, the heel of the attached heel clicked against the wooden leg. He had been confident the slick yet rough honeycombed surface would provide little fraction in movement as he performed and carried out his orders. Allowing himself to get comfortable, he sat back into the depths of the creaking leather as he awaited his partner to arrive.
Upon hearing Wesker's self-satisfied voice, Chris snapped out of his daze. He'd been staring off into the distance for, well, he wasn't sure how long; ever since this thing was surgically grafted to his chest, his sense of time had become so intermittent that it may as well not exist. Chris slowly forced himself to his feet, not wanting to give Wesker an excuse to do it for him. After finding his balance, the artificial blond began to exit his room.
How the P30 injector worked was still a mystery to its host. All he knew was that it was one complex piece of technology; sometimes it appeared to be set at fixed intervals, administering the P30 chemical throughout the day. Other times, it seemed to be controlled by Wesker's sheer will. When Chris realized that removing the device was futile (it gave him quite a painful shock), he attempted to kill himself with a kitchen knife.
That's when he learned that it must be monitoring his vitals in some way, because he was forced to stop after slicing half way down his wrist.
Chris paused just outside the door of his bedroom, 'greeting' Wesker by making eye contact with his dark lenses. He then continued his stiff gait until he was standing in front of the table with what was presumably his 'gift' lying on top of it. He tentatively glanced over at Wesker, waiting for permission to examine the piece of fabric for himself. When the latter did nothing, Chris plucked up the suit and began studying it.
It was, in a word, ridiculous; the color scheme was tactically flawed, the design was impractical, but most of all, it looked like it was created for a woman's physique. Chris made a conscious effort not to grimace when he discovered it also had built in heels. Was this Wesker's idea of a sick joke, or had he actually gone senile?
After placing the outfit back on the table, Chris took a step back and looked pointedly at his 'master.' He sharply inhaled through his nostrils and uttered a single, defiant word:
