The most frequent question I’m asked on here is about my instruments. This is my main guitar. She survived. As you can see, quite beautifully. One of the firefighters is a long time musician friend of mine and joking around I said, as they were pulling hoses in to the house, “Do you think you can rescue my guitar? It’s in the corner of my bedroom in the front of the house.” I was actually quite worried about losing it. Next thing I knew one of the firemen came out carrying it and handed it to me, as well as the old shell of my very first acoustic that hung on the wall.
My daughter’s red 3/4 guitar did not survive unscathed. I saved it. If it’s not warped too badly we might be able to salvage it. Her Ukulele also a Luna, she bought herself was also in perfect condition, just needs some ash cleaned off the body. My large Casio keyboard Studio keyboard was toast. As I was telling @secondlifep It was in the closet of my office and hit with 600 gallons of water... it literally sloshed when I picked it up the next day.
It’s still replaceable. This beauty of a guitar is not so easily replaced, but still...
