It... is... DONE! Still want to say a huge Fuck-You to the person that called By-Law because of the tarp covering the FIRE DAMAGE until the insurance was coming to fix it... In the end my Fucking Awesome Hubby @daysend_photography did ALL the work. The construction company hired to do it were going to leave it til Spring again (they were only going to ‘make’ $115 on the job) we were a mere scratch in the great Ottawa Insurance Triage when other people have lost homes to flooding and the Tornado. Rightly so, we were prepared to wait but -some- neighbour wasn’t. *le sigh* but done is done and it IS done. Newly oranged, freshly signed and very-very much locked up and out of sight now.
