Hello, I think this might be a weird convo to have; but do the culture of “Greek lunch break” are often very different to the lunch customs in other parts of Europe and corporate culture in East Asia and SE Asia, considering now the Greek government had been raised working hours per week nowadays ? Like do you guys sharing similarities with the Anglo-Saxon/Scandinavian corporate culture- (packed sandwiches for lunch), or do you guys sharing the similarities the culture with other Latin- speaking Mediterranean countries, who often prefers long siestas where people often go home/cafe/kiosk for a full meal and took some rest.
Bc currently I am drawing a modern AU of Ares and Aphrodite for the DTYIS Challenge, who is now working as Greek nurses and therapist in modern Greece, and planning to have a lunch break in the hospital that they are working in.
Our work environment heavily depends on where you're working. We are allowed half an hour of break for an 8 hour shift, but in some cases workers won't get that break at all. However, if your AU has them working on a public hospital, you can definitely have them having a lunch break outside! ♥
Now I cannot really compare how similar our lunch breaks are to other countries, so I don't wanna say anything wrong here, I only know about our rights as workers ^^
