Rimemr! (Okay we're back to the ;;)
How I feel about this character: Rimmer's my favourite Red Dwarf character. he's a terrible person and it's always funny watching awful things happen to him. Until it isn't, and then I feel sad.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Inflatable Ingrid and Rachael
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Rimmer/Space Corp Directives
My unpopular opinion about this character: I'm not sure if I have one, every time I speak to other people about my Rimmsy feels they agree with me :|
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish he hadn't left D: Not that he was gone for long, but I MISSED HIM. Although we did get the Rimmer experience out of that, so it's not all bad.
Eleanor of Aquitaine! (FINALLY ONE WHO IS NOT ;;)
How I feel about this character: She terrifies me but I sort of want to be her. I dunno. COMPLEX FEELS~
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Henry II. They were married, so.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Eleanor/power lololol
My unpopular opinion about this character: She's actually really interesting. Most people don't have a creepy level of interest in medieval queens.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I dunno dude, she was pretty kickass already and did a whole lot of stuff that few women achieved OH NO WAIT I KNOW. I wish she'd had sons that were competent and gave a shit about the country. LOL JOHN NO.
Norrington! (Even more ;;)
How I feel about this character: AWW NORRERS <3 He gives me all the sadfeels. All his life he's done the right thing and it doesn't get him anywhere and awwwwwwww *sobbing*
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Elizabeth :3 but mostly because I sort of ship Jack/Will. I mean what.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Norrington/bitchfacing
My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't really fancy him. Everyone else is like OOH COMMODORE NORRINGTON OOH and I just want to give him tea and biscuits. He's a handsome chap, I'm just not interested because he's not an obnoxious troll with silly facial hair
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: WHY CAN'T HE JUST BE HAPPY ;_;
Charles I! (;;)
How I feel about this character: OMG SO MANY FEELS. He infuriates me but he's such a massive woobie djfksdjfsdfs every time I watch a Civil War thing I cry over his stupid face
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Henrietta Maria~ And I have a lot of fun writing Charles/Cromwell crackfic, not gonna lie XD Most of it, as you know, involves enforced fab-hat-wearing.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Charles/Buckingham bromance 4 lyf (and by that I mean until Buckingham's assassination in 1628 welp)
My unpopular opinion about this character: I... think he's really attractive. I DON'T CARE IF HE'S SHORT. I'M SHORT TOO. It's not an unpopular opinion amongst people I know on Tumblr but I'm guessing normal people don't get crushes on multiple members of a mostly unsuccessful royal dynasty.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Well avoiding the whole execution for treason and his son's subsequent emotional trauma would have been nice. But then Charles II might have been less of a bro. BUT YES NO EXECUTION PLEASE IT MAKES ME SAD ;_;
Anne Boleyn or Cathy of Braganza
OH NO THEY ARE LIKE MY JOINT FAVOURITES WHYYYY ;_;
I will choose Catherine, because there are loads more people who fangirl Anne and I feel like being a hipster. And also because I can't function without tea so I'm eternally grateful that she made it cool.
Isabella of France or Eleanor of Aquitaine
Eleanor of Aquitaine. She ran England as a regent, basically, while Richard was away. She was surrounded by kings and yet was still able to be a successful ruler of Aquitaine in her own right.
Isabella, for all her achievements, didn't have any lasting success as she was overthrown by the son she was supposedly acting for.
Rochester or Shakespeare
omg this is actually really difficult
errrm
Rochester. Because even though Shakey is like my own little evil genius, his work has never made me laugh and cry as much as Rochester's has. I literally sobbed the first time I read 'My Light Thou Art'.
