Part Two
Summary. After what was supposed to be ‘me time’ Rick finds himself in yet another ridiculous adventure; His ship lands on a planet that seem to be celebrating something, he bumps into a alien cat girl who is missing her tongue, once he realizes how much that tongue is worth he decides to help her get it back, but is his eyes really on just the money? Or her, too.

Planet Nyeh was a planet that really flourished over the years; its people thrived with fertile soil, materials for building, its water clean, free of bacteria, its fruit plentiful and rich . Nyeh was ahead of its time, it seemed like. Its people are all hybrids , massive ears and tails of a cat in bright or dark colors. A lot of the young adult cats had their parents colors but one. A yellow and a blue had fallen in love making a rare green hybrid , word quickly spread of this making the child more and more valuable to other planets. Nyeh had never seen a green fur before, she was valuable in odd ways though, a green fur had a unique tongue, the only ones of its people to have an odd colored one. It was worth millions , and multiple planets wanted it.
The girl literally fell back into her planet on a soft pile of hay in a moving cart, the 7 eyed donkey yelped stopping while his owner tried to calm him down. The girl poked her head out seeing the farmer jumping out to give him a hug . The farmer was confused at first but then he noticed the blood, a raid had happened recently .. this morning actually but there was no word someone was taken. The girl pointed to her mouth signaling what was wrong , she urged the man to take her to her home and he quickly did.
The girl's parents were just like every other citizen on Nyeh, not above anybody not under. Everyone was equal for the most part, except the ‘King’ that looked over everything on Nyeh. but no one has seen him in a long time. Her home was like all the others when they arrived; simple, everything it needed. She thanked the farmer by holding his hands and bowing her head, the farmer was shaky when the girl touched him, he knew she was missing something valuable… not just to her but to everyone on Nyeh.
The door creaked open slowly, two cats looked up from the kitchen table at the door. The female had yellow fur and the male blue. Both parents shot up rushing to their daughter giving her a hug.
“Oh our little Mint, your back” her father said, squeezing her.
“Are you alright? We were worried, where did you go?” her mother asked.
“...!!!” Mint tried to tell her parents , explaining only a little .. but nothing came out. This instantly made the fur on her parents' ears stand up. Her father tilted her chin up inspecting the dried smeared blood on her cheeks. “Why aren't you talking….”
“Oh no, Artus you dont think?” his wife asked him.
“Open your mouth Mint”
Mint did as she was told , opening her mouth slowly revealing an empty spot with uneven cutting along the back.
“Her tongue! They took her tongue!” her mother yelled, shrieking . “Artus what do we do?”
“Easy Zenna, … i dont know ! Mint how could you let this happen? You were the only special thing on this cursed planet. You were the only thing different, we could get off this rock with you !”
“...” her ears fell, Mints parents were.. Tired of having the same thing as everyone else.. So when they had Mint they realized they struck gold with her. They could get off this planet and move somewhere where they had everything, more than others. It did not matter if Mint did not want this, she was just an object to her parents. “...” Mint waved her hands around to get past her parents and seclude herself in her room . she dressed in not so skin tight clothes, trading the cloth dress for a pretty green that hugged her chest but swayed freely under her chest and some sandals, her hair was messy from what happened , she usually wore it in a messy bun because of her ears . Mint laid down on her bed hugging her pillow, she could not get that man out of her head. He was decent with her, impatient sure but.. Decent . she wanted to see him again.

Rick arrived home landing his ship in the garage flopping out , he stumbled through the door to greet his family who were mixed on seeing him. Jerry was.. Ricks least favorite so hsi greeting did not matter to the man, he said hello to his daughter, Summer and Morty , joining them at the table for dinner .
“So how was your ‘me time’ grandpa, any alien ass ?” Summer asked half joking
“Cmon summer Rick does other things!” Morty spat back. “Right Rick? You do all kinds a space things!!!!”
Rick gave Jerry a side eye making sure he was listening to his kids talk about how great their grandfather was. “Yep! Tappin ass and saving lives, thats me. “
“Dad seriously?” Beth groaned, rubbing her head.
The family all ate their meals thinking nothing of anything, when everyone went to sleep Rick was still awake checking on some things for his ship.
“Still mad at me baby?” he teased, patting the ships red eye.
“Not really. You are just a dumbass”
“Aw thank you, so what was so important?”
“Planet Nyeh had a raid”
The man spit his flask out onto the eye. “Wah?”
“Gross. Yes. you must have hit coordinates to Nyeh when you fell asleep, so my radar picked up the PSA, apparently a cat was taken and brought to planet Zeep. “
Rick dropped his flask on his lap hitting a bunch of buttons on his touch screen . “what else can you tell me” some information on the event appeared on his screen.
“A rare thing i guess, green? Rick did you know all Nyeh have the same color tongue? I guess the green one had a green tongue”
In the same second Rick remembered the jar with a tongue inside it and tossing it over his shoulder. Oh fuck.
“...ship set a course for Nyeh”
“Why?”
Rick picked up his flask, turning the ship all the way on. “Just do it”
