Now that I use Tumblr I vow to never sleep again
My activity will probably go WAY down.
Because I'm going to be a mom in a about 12 weeks! So my activity will go down because I'll be busy. Also my pictures of myself have gone down just because I'm with someone and feel like it's more respectful for me to not post those kinds of pictures. And more respectful of me as a parent. So! My activity will probably go WAY down. But I appreciate all the love and support I've gotten. But do not appreciate the dick pics! Thanks guys!
My First Day in Yamanashi-ken
So, I’ve arrived in Japan and to be honest it’s all been a bit overwhelming. My first few days in Tokyo were just blur of names, seminars and incredible jet lag (if I’m honest, I’m still feeling it). I highlight was experiencing my first earthquake which was both fun and an anti-climax as I thought I was dreaming, my mind in it’s sleep induced delirium couldn’t fathom why the bed would rock in the real world. I’m sure it won’t be the last so I’m not too worried about it.
Driving to Yamanashi-ken I was just a bundle of excitement and nerves, it was finally happening! I just wanted to make a good first impression to my new colleagues and me being me, my nervousness had removed what little Japanese I had memorised from my brain. When we got off the bus in our business clothes into the sweltering heat we all huddled together unsure of what to do. We had to get our luggage from the bus but it would have been unwise to enter the throng of JTE’s waiting to greet us with them. I had no idea how I was going to find T-sensei1 until I noticed that some JTE’s were holding signs with our names on. With this fortification, I plunged into the mass!
The first person I saw was N-sensei. She was holding a little fan with colourful lettering spelling out, ‘LOUISA WELCOME TO YAMANASHI’. This, in addition to the smile she gave me when she realised who I was when I made myself known, filled me with such relief. I was quickly introduced to T-sensei and A-sensei who had come to meet me as well, I think I just bowed a lot. I didn’t even have time to say goodbye to the other Yamanashi JETs before I was whisked away in A-sensei’s car to my new school.
‘Kocho-sensei2 is waiting to meet you!’ they told me as I talked to them in the car bout the bus from Tokyo among other things. I had been relaxing a little at this point, my relief that they were clearly all lovely people and that they could understand me (I was making a real effort to talk slowly) had cleared away some of my anxiety. But this news ramped it back up again as once again I just wanted to make a good impression but I couldn’t remember any Japanese. On top of that a brief heads up from a seminar from the previous day had informed me that there would be a formal handing over of my ‘Notice of Appointment’. As it inevitably turned out, I had nothing to worry about. Both Kocho-sensei and Kyoto-sensei3 were so excited to see me they were waiting in front of the school. I bowed a lot, then I went to shake hands, realised I shouldn’t and bowed some more. I mustered up some of my paltry Japanese to impress them which worked beautifully and the notice handover went well. Unfortunately, Kocho-sensei had to leave so Kyoto-sensei was left we me telling him how happy I was to be there VERY ENTHUSIASTICALLY (for those of you who know me, yes exactly what you’re thinking BUT I managed to speak relatively slowly).
After our lovely chat, I was taken to lunch with T-sensei, N-sensei and A-sensei and had the best tasting chicken ever (I must ask T-sensei where we went) and was roundly complimented on my chopstick skills and general attitude towards my new life (overwhelming excitement and enthusiasm).
The rest as they say, is history. I spent the rest of the day signing documents with my new hanko4, becoming an official resident of Showa-cho, Yamanashi-ken and sorting out my internet (which took hours, bless T-sensei). Understadably, when I got home to my new apartment without curtains I made my futon and crashed.

This is part two to my fanfic! I've titled it ’My new life’, and edited the first post to include the title. I will leave the link below the fanfic. Enjoy!
In the end, I agreed to a trial period of two months. It’s been a week since then. Today is the day that everybody- EVERYBODY, arrives on Colde.
“Why, why did they all have to come on the same day?” I bury my face in my hands and groan. As happy as I am to see them again, some of the kingdom’s rulers still hold personal conflicts against each other, despite Saligia being at peace. I suppose it can;t be helped, I’ll simply have to deal with it. I wonder what their children and their wives are like?
It’s two in the afternoon, and they have not arrived yet. I went to see the headmaster just now, and he informed me that it was because the sea was especially choppy, so they are having trouble navigating the ships.
I’m in the S-rank common room, waiting for everyone to arrive. For the most part, I’m not particularly worried, but if Idina or anyone hostile comes or the queens misunderstand our relationship, there may be trouble.
Three hours later, I’m still waiting.
“Treasure~”

“Please slow down,Young master!”
“Sophia!”
“Your majesty, why are we”
I gulp. There’s no mistaking it, it’s them. The doors burst open. Staring back at me are a variety of faces, familiar and unfamiliar.
“Every- I mean, Your Majesties, Your Highnesses, welcome to Colde and the academy.” I curtsy as low as I can without showing that I’m trembling.
“Sophia!”Someone latches onto me and hugs me.
“Ah.. Sherry, can’t breathe”
She sniffs and wipes her eyes.”I missed you,Sophia.”
Just then, a woman steps forward. She is clearly upset and her eyes are welling up. “You there! Are you His Majesty King Fenn’s mistress?!”
*Oh, I should have known this would happen. She heard Fenn, that idiot, call me treasure. * I glare at Fenn.* I want to strangle him. He obviously knew what would happen and yet he did it. Does he not care that he had a reputation as a king to keep up?*
