Jenn, got 5 more teeth pulled today. I recall last year asking for help to find an oral surgeon able to complete this procedure to remove 9 teeth in a setting that could manage her Myotonic and ICD heart concerns. We had multiple consultations. Things all came together at Christmas & then even with the pandemic, the majority of the work was able to be completed. Her pain is much less tonight and she was unsure of her new smile. I love it because I know the risk of infection is much less. Jennifer handles her obstacles with resiliency and it teaches me a lot. This smile says shows me her confidence to move forward. Today I celebrate the 28th birthday of the woman who made me a mom. She is brave, bold, tenacious and loving. She was an overcomer from the day she entered this world. She taught me how to love selflessly at times she gave me her courage to never quit. She has known suffering but she has fought every battle and come out stronger.
