PJO HIGH SCHOOL AU

Perrin is definitely either Prom or Homecoming King. He completely aces his French class in school and tutors a few people who are struggling with it. He’s not really in any clubs, but he’ll do track sometimes to keep fit. Is openly gay and runs a secret support group for the kids who still aren’t ready to come out. Is a solid “B” student.

Myra runs the schools underground betting rings. She knows all the odds of the couples in the school and is uncannily lucky. She gets pretty average grades otherwise and is always borrowing notes from anyone she can.

Marshall is a class napper. Oddly enough, he still manages to pass all his classes. He doesn’t do any sports, but is a part of the astronomy/star gazing club solely for the fact he’s in love with the cute girl with the bows in her hair. Never does his homework.

Heath is that one guy who is in as many sport clubs as possible. Doesn’t care about schoolwork one bit, and has to have tutors to help him. Is Jean’s half brother and they get into loud and explosive arguments regularly. Has three sport scholarships lined up.

Andie is a quiet achiever. No one can ever tell what gender Andie is and they usually never find out. Is a part of the LBGT club at the school and doesn’t tolerate even one homophobic or hateful word against other people who are being teased due to their gender or orientation.

Luca is an “A” student and helps out in sick bay on his free lessons. Studying to be a doctor. He was a part of the swim team, but quit when it started taking up too much time and his grades dropped.

Which one cried during a fucking disney movie? - let’s be real here both of them do (but especially jesse)

Who put a goddamned fork in the microwave? - both of them on separate occasions. It wasn’t because they didn’t know they were just distracted or careless

Who does the silly hands-over-the-eyes “Guess who” thing? - again, both of them

Who puts their cold hands/feet on their partner? - Myra. Jesse has high body temperature

Who had that embarrassing Reality TV marathon? - Myra started it as a joke or just because there was nothing else on tv and then Jesse got hooked and they marathoned together

Who laughs more during sex? - Jesse because he finds everything amusing. Which leads to Myra laughing a lot too

Jesse and Myra and movie nights!

Okay okay yes. Myra is Jesse’s ultimate movie buddy especially once she discovers how much he loves rom coms and “chick flicks”. They get emotional over practically every movie they watch and spend like two hours after talking about their favorite parts and basically hyper-analyzing the movie. Snacks include popcorn and candy and either water or sweet drinks (sweet tea for jesse and cherry coke for myra). If they haven’t had dinner, they’ll order pizza and finish the whole thing. While they typically stick to classics, animated films, and rom coms, occasionally they watch horror flick and then they can’t sleep and have to curl up together and convince each other it’s just a movie.

I brought my new kitten to school hold her please while I kick this guys ass!

The small orange kitten purred against the palm of Myra’s hand, nuzzling her fingers. The little ball of fluff was so small it fit in the cupped palms of Jesse’s hands, where the kitten currently sat as Myra brushed her finger’s over her back. 

Myra and Jesse both looked up with surprise at the sound of flat footed sneakers smacking against the tile hallways. A blur of teenage boys raced past where Myra and Jesse sat and the kitten burrowed into Jesse’s cupped hands. Three boys were chasing a lower classman, laughing and yelling angry insults. 

"Whoa, what was that about?" Myra asked, craning her neck to watch the group of boys tear through a sea of high school students. 

Jesse’s response to her question was to place the kitten in Myra’s hand, barely looking at her as he watched the scene unfolding at the end of the hallway. The boys had the under classman pressed up against a row of lockers, outnumbering him and holding an advantage over him with their height.

"Hold her, please," Jesse said, touching the top of Myra’s head lightly as he stood.

Myra pulled the kitten against her chest and adjusted herself to watch Jesse. The boys may have been taller than the lower classman, but Jesse towered over all of them. Not to mention, he was built like a tanks.

Myra laughed as the group of boys ran in the opposite direction after only a few angry words from Jesse. He was a gentle giant around the kitten, but as soon as he saw any injustice, he became superman.

makes friends with the neighbors - They're both super friendly to their neighbors. Jesse makes friends with them really easily and Myra brings neighbors delicious pastries that she bakes.

tries to surprise their partner more often - I think they both try to surprise each other but Myra is more successful
