Ok! You wanted us to ask you stuff: I'd like to know more about your PhD and where you studied. What was your thesis about? What are you doing now? (I'm also Elvenstone; this is coming from my main blog name... I don't know how to send an ask from a side blog.)

Hey dear! Thank you for asking! :)

I studied in one of the best universities in my country (called UNESP) and my thesis was about how fantasy is a literary genre (a lot of people don’t consider this in the academic world and treat fantasy only like part of children’s literature so that’s why I chose to write about it even if it seems obvious). To prove my argument I presented what was said about fantasy until now and then proceeded to analyse The Neverending Story and other fantasy stories like Harry Potter, The Silmarillion, The Chronicles of Narnia and Farmer Giles of Ham (I used The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit too but very little). I’m terrible to explain what I did so I hope you understand. :)

Now what am I doing now is nothing :) I’ll try a job in an university next month but to teach brazilian and portuguese literature because I didn’t study english so I can’t teach english literature which is a pain in the ass since all I studied in my masters and PhD was english literature (except The Neverending Story of course).
